Publisher: Visceral Games and EA
Platform: Ps3, psp and 360
Multiplayer: No
DLC: Yes but it sucks

First thing Dante's Inferno deserves an M rating more then any other game i've played, including mortal combat. If your not ok with nudity, extreme violence, disturbing scenes and even more disturbing enemies such has dead babies with blades for hands or zombie women who attack you with their vagina, don't play this game. Also if your touchy about religeon don't play this game. There has been catholic protests to this game.

Story
Dante's Inferno is the videogame form of the epic poem Inferno written by Dante Alighieri. It's a very famous poem and very old. Like bible old. It's based on the first part of the poem, i had to read it in school and do a report on it, this game helped me alot, who said you can't learn from video games . If your not familiar with how it goes, here it is. You were a Templar Knight in the holy bishops army. During your time in the army you commited many sins such as greed, lust, gluttony all that but the bishop absolved all his soldiers of any sins. Well you die, and realize the bishop didn't do shit and was lying the whole time and your off to hell. Dante is a badass so he kills death and steals is syche. Karma comes around, you return home to find your father dead (a golden cross shoved through his eye) and your wife dead in the backyard (half naked and slash marks on her back). Lucifer, satan, devil whatever you want to call him takes Beatrice's soul to hell for your sins and you have to go rescue her. To reach Lucifer you must go through the 9 circles of hell. Limbo, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Anger, Heresy, Violence, Fraud and Treachery. Each new circles gives new enemies. Now if your like me and LOVE this ancient history stuff, you'll find amusment in finding some historical names in this game. Such as Marc Antony, Cleopatra, Electra, Brunetto Latini and so on.

Gameplay
If you ever played god of war you'll feel right at home playing Dante's Inferno. It's basically the same exact gameplay. You can choose to upgrade either the unholy way or holy which adds different ablilites. Also theres alot of collectibles in this game. You can find relics which give u uprgrades, "Damned" people (all of historical meaning) that you can choose to either punish or absolve and theres silver rings which are just silver rings. The boss fights are all fun except one. The boss in "Lust" isn't hard, but it's just so damn gross i never want to play that level again. It's fun to play tho.

DLC: Don't bother, it's stupid.

Likes: I Love the history in it cause thats my thing. I also enjoy the gameplay and the boss fights are usually fun. Not to mention you get to fight lucifer which is awesome.

Dislikes: I could do without the zombie women who attack with their vaginas. I could do without the boss on "Lust". Theres a little trouble with the camera angles at times. Also if your not familiar with the peom it could be a little hard to follow

Final Rating: 7/10
